The process, I used was Mapping, and graphing which really helped me out putting everything in place.
Foreshortening project artist statement
For my foreshortening final piece I created a cow with the nose being foreshortened to express the goal which is to create something that shows it being foreshortened. I am naming my piece Clueless Cow.
I began to use pencil and pencil shading to include in my final piece because I was most comfortable with that media, also the process I regularly used was just shading in and then rubbing the pencil shading to create a nice coat of color.
The whole purpose/idea of my piece was to show that I enjoy nature and I can illustrate that by making a art piece in class. Also I was trying to express that nature and animals are just enjoyable and it can relax you.
My goals as an artist is to practice drawing till the point where my artwork can look realistic and I can see myself getting a little better to achieve that goal so this piece also helped me to get one step closer to achieving that goal because with pencil it's difficult to make something look realistic.
Ultimately, I am proud of my final piece because it looks semi realistic and also I added a range of values with pencil. and hopefully more of these projects can help me in the future with my artwork.
Oil Pastel Parrots artist statement
My art piece represents a image of two parrots and the tittle of my piece is " parrots in a tree", the elements that are most obvious in my piece is obviously the parrots but the texture within the parrots colors and features, also the tree branch is a little detailed so it can look realistic.
My work is made by using oil pastels as a media source, the techniques I used was scribbling different colors in the sketchbook to see what colors were right to use for my final piece, the process I also used was applying the correct colors and then mixing them with my fingers so it can create some smooth colors for my piece.
The thing that inspired me to do parrots was the calmness of nature and in some parts it contains parrots and I think the bird itself looks neat. my work expresses personal issues because it reminds me of nature and wind, and that makes me feel relaxed. emotions that were meant to be expressed through out the piece were Relaxed and chilled vibes since nature is usually a quiet and peaceful place to be around.
My goals as an artists is to create every piece to my expectations which can be like being realistic, using proper techniques that can help me out in the future with my piece. I think this piece kinda met my goals, because the techniques I used were very helpful to create different colors that I achieved In my final piece, but the realism in my piece could have been better such as the feathers and other features within my parrots.
I learned in this piece different styles to create unique colors that were not easy to make, I also learned how to create many textures to create forms for my future work, also I learned that putting a background can help to make your piece look better and more neat and clean. my final piece is how I imagined it to be because the body of my parrots looks good but also the colors represented in my parrots are very bright and appealing to people. This final piece can influence my future artwork by giving me confidence and to do different techniques and to never give up cause everything requires a process.
Watercolor critique
Art Criticism Process:
Title: water color landscape
1. Describe: In this piece there is a lot of sand, there's detail like cactus, birds, and scorpions. so you can analyze and say that it's a desert.
2. Analyze: I used curvy lines and wavy lines to create forms of the piece like animals and objects but also used color to create value In my painting.
3. Interpret: The meaning/message of my piece Is calm and peaceful, because nothing too crazy Is going on but It can also feel like a feeling of being warm since It's a desert.
4. Judge: I think this piece is successful because It came out looking like a desert like i have wished to be. and I like the detail within my painting and the line quality and contrast.
Artist Statement:
My inspiration for this piece Is a creative landscape and not just any ordinary landscape, and also i really like the summer time because Its hot and Its also hot In a desert so that's why I picked a desert as my landscape.
The process I used was blending colors to make lighter colors to include In my piece. and also start out light and map lightly so any pencil lines won't show up In my final piece.
Art Show Artist Statement
My art piece is a sunflower and the tittle of it is sunflower love. I have used oil pastels to create my piece and also my artwork looks like a big sunflower just standing there in a open field. the techniques I used was blending my colors with my fingers so it can look more smooth and less like crayons and also so my colors wont mix up and create a different weird color. I also used my sketch book as a resource to test out different colors and that can give me a idea as to what colors to use for my final piece. I am chill most of the time and calm, so I thought a flower can be represented as calm and wavy with chill vibes, so that's what inspired me to draw a sunflower. My goals as an artist is to become better at drawing realistic things such as people or hands. This piece did not really help me reach my goals because I didn't really draw anything realistic, I just drew a flower and a sky which doesn't match up to my goals I would want to achieve. I learned from this project, how to blend more efficiently and what colors to choose for better results. My final piece is how I imagined it to be because of its composition and because of the little detail I added towards the end. This piece can possibly influence my artwork in he future by me discovering other things I am interested in drawing and by helping my techniques in the near future.

Artistic Statement:
My inspiration for this piece is that like what Kane represents and all the cool features he has and also I like outdoors so I like nature, that is why I picked this god.
